Raguvaran's replacement

Raghuvaran’s sudden untimely demise has caused producers and directors to look for replacement for the movies that he committed earlier. As it seems, Susi Ganeshan has already found replacement for Raghuvaran’s role in Kanthaswamy and it will be donned by the Bollywood bad-man Ashish Vidhayarthi.

Two other movies, Adada Enna Azhagu and Indira Vizha, where Raghuvaran was also a part of are in need of replacements too. It is learnt that while Adada Enna Azhagu will trim down Raghu’s role as an actor, Indira Vizha has booked Nasser for the role.Whilst on the subject, Susi Ganeshan is busy canning the Vikram related scenes in Chennai right now and will take off to Mexico with the crew for the next leg of the shoots.

Kanthaswamy’ for Deepavali ????

It is expected to be a cracking Deepavali for Vikram fans as their favorite hero's much-hyped ‘Kanthaswamy’ is expected for a release this Deepavali.
‘Kanthaswamy’ starring Vikram and Shriya in the lead roles, is directed by Susi Ganesan and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.
Being produced in a big budget, the movie will be shot in exotic locales in Mexico. Music is by Devi Sri Prasad.
According to Thanu, “We are taking no chances. No compromises are being made and we are striving to arrive at a quality product. ‘Kanthaswamy’ will satisfy all sections of fans”.
A massive set had been erected in the Prasad Studios costing Rs. 1 crore wherein a fast-paced action scene was shot for 17 days.

Vikram sings for Kanthasamy

Versatile actor Vikram will be trying his hand at singing with his latest film Kanthaswamy. The film Kandasamy is simultaneously being shot in Tamil and Telugu. With actress Shreya acting opposite Vikram, the movie has been titled Mallanna in Telugu. Music director Devi Sri Prasad has persuaded Vikram to lend his voice for one of his compositions for this film.

Vikram is apparently playing a kleptomaniac in the film, due to which he undergoes some problems. Veterans Thotta Tharani, A. S. Laxmi Narayanan and Vairamuthu, winners of nine National Film Awards between them, take care of the art direction, audiography and lyrics respectively.
